The DXC family consists of modular multiservice access nodes, providing non-blocking DS0 cross connect for up to 960 timeslots over a possible 240 ports. Plug-in interface modules enable nx56/64 kbps, E1, T1, E3, T3, or STM-1 transmission over copper, fiber, HDSL, IDSL, or SHDSL lines.

It can also be used to convert between E1 and T1 ports.
