The megaplex is a flexible, modular multiplexer enabling integration of multiple voice, ISDN, video, data and LAN services over multiple E1, Ethernet uplinks, or nx64 uplinks.

It is especially suitable to be used as an economical, compact remote multiservice node. It is ideal for SMB, providing mixed services for business and residential customer.

It perform both traffic grooming and cross connect.

 

MP-4100
The Megaplex-4100 is a high capacity multiservice concentrator supporting access over PDH/SDH/SONET and Gigabit transport networks.
It supports STM-1/OC-3 add/drop multiplexing for grooming LAN and legacy (TDM) traffic over SDH/SONET networks.

It is a Next-generation ADM and can be used as an Ethernet aggregator, a multifunction node and has a diversity of ring support (E1, SHDSL, or mix of ring topologies).
